Chhattisgarh: 22 Naxalites, Including 2 Women, Surrender In Bijapur: 2 CRPF Jawans Injured In Maoist IED Blast
22 Naxalites have surrendered in Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh today. These include two women Naxalites. A total reward of Rs 11 lakh was declared for these Naxalites.
A cash incentive of 25 thousand each has been provided to the surrendered Naxalites under the policy of the state government.
2 CRPF Jawans Injured In Maoist IED Blast In Chhattisgarh’s Bijapur
Two CRPF jawans have been injured in an IED blast carried out by Maoists in Chhattisgarh’s Bijapur district. The Maoists carried out this blast on Bijapur-Bhopalpatnam National Highway No. 63 under the Madded police station area.
This blast has created a crater about five feet deep on the road. Injured jawans are being treated at the Community Health Centre in Madded.
