Hyderabad: GITAM Hosts Upskilling Session on ‘Engineering Chaos Kickoff: Navigating Startups, Teams, and Execution’
The Directorate of Training & Competency Development at GITAM School of Technology, Hyderabad successfully organized a two-day Upskilling Session titled ‘Engineering Chaos Kickoff: Navigating Startups, Teams, and Execution’ on March 21-22, 2025. The session was led by Bharat Bhusal, a final-year B.Tech. CSE student at GITAM and Tech Lead at jaisriram.io. Hailing from Nepal, Bharat shared valuable insights from his industry experience and learning journey, offering participants a fresh perspective on navigating the complexities of technology and startups.
Drawing from his own learning experiences, Bharat emphasized the importance of mastering the fundamentals, continuous practice, and staying consistent in the face of challenges. He encouraged students to adopt a growth mindset, stressing the need to learn new technologies efficiently and adapt quickly to industry demands.
During the session, Bharat covered key industry topics, including the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Git/GitHub, and CI/CD (Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment).
He also introduced advanced concepts such as tech chaos management, leveraging AWS, optimizing EC2 cloud services, and exploring the potential of blockchain technology. In a hands-on demonstration, Bharat guided participants through the process of building a startup, highlighting the importance of combining technical expertise with strategic execution.
“The classroom alone is not enough to excel,” Bharat remarked. “Focusing on your interests and mastering them with consistency and dedication is the key to success.”
The session concluded with an engaging Q&A segment, where Bharat addressed students’ questions with practical advice and industry insights. At the end of the two-day, four-hour session, participants were awarded virtual certificates for their successful completion of the program.
