Indian coffee gaining momentum: Exports increased by 40 percent in April-February period of current F/Y

India’s coffee exports rose 40 per cent to $1.54 billion in the April-February period of the current fiscal year from $1.10 billion in the same period last year. This information was given by the Ministry of Commerce. According to official data, coffee exports rose 22 per cent to $178.68 million in February as against $146.08 million in the same period last year.

In Indian rupees, the country’s coffee exports rose 43.37 per cent to Rs 13,004.75 crore in the April-February period of the current fiscal year from Rs 9,070 crore in the same period last fiscal.
