Hyderabad: ANRF Awards Prestigious Core Grant Research Project to GITAM

The Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF), a statutory body under the Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India, has awarded a prestigious research project to Dr. Motahar Reza, Principal Investigator from the Department of Mathematics, School of Science, GITAM Deemed-to-be University, Hyderabad.

The project, titled “Study of Flow Instabilities in Rotating Curved Micro Pipes,” is a three-year initiative aimed at investigating fluid flow behavior in microdomains using advanced numerical and analytical techniques. The research is expected to provide significant insights into flow instabilities, which have crucial applications in microfluidics and related fields.

To support this research, Dr. Reza is inviting applications for a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position. The ideal candidate should hold an M.Tech. or M.Sc. (Mathematics) with a first-class academic record and must have qualified GATE/NET. Proficiency in MATLAB programming is essential. The maximum age limit is 32 years, with a relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/OBC candidates and women applicants. The selected fellow will receive a monthly stipend of ₹37,000 plus HRA.
