Singareni: A step ahead with Australia in high production, modern safety technology: CMD N. Balaram

Mr. N. Balaram, Singareni Company Chairman and MD said that they will take a step forward with Australian companies in high production, machinery and modern safety technology in coal mining. He was speaking at a meeting with representatives of 13 Australian companies held at Singareni Bhavan in Hyderabad on Friday evening.

CMD said that Singareni Company is moving forward with a target of producing 100 million tonnes of coal in the coming period, and therefore Singareni intends to provide heavy mineral production machinery and state-of-the-art safety and security systems. He also said that the company is planning to significantly increase solar power generation and that they will also have the opportunity to use battery energy storage systems to store electricity.

He also explained the various business expansion measures that Singareni Company will undertake through a PowerPoint presentation. He suggested that Australian companies could cooperate in setting up the machinery and systems required for these business expansion measures. He said that the products of Australian companies will be examined and the best and most profitable ones will be given a chance.

CMD said that long wall technology, other technologies, and machine knowledge that can increase productivity in open cast mines are needed to conduct OB coal mining more efficiently and to improve dump safety and information systems are also available.

He said that Singareni is ready to produce minerals abroad as per the orders of the state government, and that Singareni wants a profitable partnership especially for the production of key minerals.
