TGCHE Launches Comprehensive Curriculum Revision for Business, Commerce, Law, and Management Disciplines

The Telangana Council of  Higher Education (TGCHE) has undertaken an transformative initiative to modernize and align the curriculum for undergraduate programs across key disciplines such as Business, Commerce, Law, and Management. This initiative aims to equip students with the skills, knowledge, and competencies required to meet contemporary& futuristic industry demands, global standards, and the dynamic needs of various stakeholders, including students, educators, and employers.

As part of this extensive revision process, TGCHE has formed committee. Thecommittee will work together to evaluate the existing curricula, identify areas for improvement, and recommend updates to ensure the programs remain relevant in an ever-changing educational and professional landscape.

In its endeavor to provide a comprehensive and inclusive approach, TGCHE has appointed the following experts for the revision process in Business, Commerce, Law, and Management:

2 Prof. A. Vidyadhar Reddy Former Dean, Faculty of Management, OU Member
3 Prof. B. Rajasekhar, Former Dean, School of Management, University of Hyderabad Member
4 Prof. Sindhu, Director, School of Management, JNTUH Member
5 Prof. V. AppaRao,Senior Professor, Dept. of Commerce, OU Member
6 Dr. Ramesh Kumar M., Assistant Professor, Dept. of Business Management, MGU Member
7 Dr. S. Rajeswar Rao, Senior Faculty, Indian Institute of Management & Commerce, Hyderabad Member

Prof. V. Balakista Reddy, Chairman ofthe Committee, emphasized the importance of this revision in meeting the evolving needs of both the academic community and the workforce. He stated, “In today’s fast-paced and technology-driven world, it is essential that our academic programs are continuously updated to reflect the latest trends, industry demands, and global benchmarks. This revision will help bridge the gap between traditional education and modern professional requirements.”
