FIH Pro League: Indian Women’s Team Wins 3-2 Against England
In hockey, the Indian Women’s team secured a hard-fought 3-2 victory over England in their opening match of the FIH Pro League campaign at Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar last evening.

In a dramatic finish, Navneet Kaur secured the win for India with a decisive goal in the final minute. The Indian women’s team will face England again today at 5:15 PM at the same venue.
Meanwhile, the Indian Men’s team endured a disappointing start, losing 1-3 to Spain at the same venue. Sukhjeet Singh opened the scoring for India in the 25th minute, but Spain quickly responded with Borja Lacalle’s equalizer in the 28th.
Ignacio Cobos put Spain ahead in the 38th minute, and Bruno Avila sealed the match with his maiden international goal in the 56th minute through a powerful drag flick.
