Ministry Of Ayush and Social Justice Dept Sign MoU To Boost Senior Citizen Care and; Combat Substance Abuse

The Ministry of Ayush and the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in New Delhi. The MoU primarily aims at improving the well-being of senior citizens and addressing the growing concern of substance abuse.

Speaking on the occasion, Minister of State for Ayush, Prataprao Jadhav, said that geriatric healthcare and substance abuse are critical areas that require special focus, especially as the country faces an ageing population and growing concerns around addiction.

Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment B. L. Verma also addressed the gathering.
