Grandmaster Gukesh To Face Defending Champion Ding Liren In FIDE World Chess Championship Finale
In Chess, Indian Grandmaster Dommaraju Gukesh will take on defending champion Ding Liren of China in the final Game 14 of the FIDE World Chess Championship in Singapore today.
The match is scheduled to begin at 2:30 PM IST. The winner of Game 14 will be crowned the World Champion. If the game ends in a draw, tiebreaks featuring speed chess will be played tomorrow.
Yesterday, the 13th game between Gukesh and Ding Liren ended in a draw after a five-hour battle on the board. After the draw, both have 6.5 points each.
