NCC Cadets Are Enthusiastically Taking Part In Agniveer Scheme: DG, NCC
Around 2000 ex-servicemen will be hired to impart training to NCC cadets in their academies. In an interview to Akashvani News, Director General of National Cadet Corps Lieutenant General Gurbeerpal Singh said that NCC cadets are enthusiastically taking part in Agniveer scheme. He said that the NCC is also giving training to cadets who want to join army.
Mr Singh also highlighted that during the training cadets are apprised about the innovative and emerging challenges and accordingly, they are being trained.
Besides, he said that NCC cadets are also participating in environmental protection and are also taking part in ‘Ek Pe Maa Ke Naam’, nationwide tree plantation campaign launched by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 5th of June this year.
