Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar Plants Sapling In Honour Of His Mother
Hon’ble Vice-President of India, Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar planted a sapling in the honour of his mother, Smt. Kesari Devi Ji at ASITA, the ecological site along River Yamuna, in New Delhi today.
Vice-President, Jagdeep Dhankhar today planted a sapling in the honour of his mother, Kesari Devi under the aforestation campaign, Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam at ASITA Park along the River Yamuna in Delhi.
The ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ Campaign was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the occasion of World Environment Day last month.
It is aimed at planting a tree as a tribute to one’s mother, thus highlighting the commitment to protecting Mother Nature and making sustainable lifestyle choices.
