Over 3,113 Pilgrims Leave Base Camp To Do Pilgrimage To Amarnath Cave Shrine

Another batch of 3,113 pilgrims left Bhagwati Nagar Yatri Niwas base camp in Jammu for the Kashmir valley to perform pilgrimage to Amarnath Cave Shrine. The pilgrims left the base camp in a cavalcade of 123 vehicles early this morning.

The batch included 2,315 Men, 692 Women, 4 Children, 87 Sadhus & 15 Sadhvies (female sadhus). Of these, 1,153 pilgrims left for Baltal base camp at 2:56 AM and 1,960 for Pahalgam base camp at 3:41 AM from where they will proceed for their further journey to the holy cave.
