Hyderabad: Senior IPS Officer Dr Jitender Transferred And Posted As New DGP (Coordination) Of Telangana

Senior IPS officer Dr Jitender has been transferred and posted as the new Director General of Police (DGP) (Coordination) of Telangana. The 1992 batch IPS officer is currently serving as the Principal Secretary of the Home Department.

He will be holding the full additional charge of post of the DGP, (Head of Police Force). State Chief Secretary Shanti Kumari has issued Government Orders to this effect.

The current DGP of Telangana, Ravi Gupta, has been posted as Special Chief Secretary in the Home Department. The appointment of Jitender as the new DGP is a significant step in the state’s law enforcement leadership.
