India To Take On Zimbabwe In Second Of Five Match T20 Series In Harare, Zimbabwe

In Men’s Cricket, India will take on Zimbabwe in the second of the five match T20 series in Harare, Zimbabwe, this evening. The match will start at 4.30 PM, IST. The hosts currently hold a 1-Nil lead in the series following their remarkable victory against the reigning T20 World Champions.

In the series opener yesterday, Zimbabwe, led by Sikandar Raza, secured a historic win by beating the Men in Blue by 13 runs. Put in to bat first, Zimbabwe scored 115 for nine in 20 overs. Chasing 116, the young inexperienced Indian team led by Shubman Gill were bundled out for 102 in 19.5 overs, marking India’s lowest all out total in T20 Internationals, in the last eight years. 

Zimbabwe Defeats India By 13 Runs in 1st T20I

In Cricket, Zimbabwe won by 13 runs against India in the 1st T20 international of five-match series at Harare.

Earlier, India won the toss and elected to field. Indian bowlers led by leg-spinner Ravi Bishnoi produced a dominant effort to restrict Zimbabwe to 115 for nine. Bishnoi took 4 wickets for 13 runs and was well-supported by off-spinner Washington Sundar, who claimed 2 wickets for 11 runs.

For Zimbabwe, Tendai Chatara and Sikandar Raza have picked up three wickets each and take a 1-0 lead.
