Telangana: CM and Deputy CM meets PM Modi: Request to resolve 12 pending issues

The Chief Minister of Telangana, Shri Revanth Reddy and Deputy Chief Minister of Telangana, Shri Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu met with Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi today in New Delhi. 

 The Prime Minister’s Office said in a X post;

 “Telangana CM, Shri @revanth_anumula and Deputy CM, Shri Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu, met PM @narendramodi today.” 

Chief Minister Mr. Anumula. Revanth Reddy and Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Mallu. Bhatti Vikramarka have brought to the attention of Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi that 12 key issues such as funds to come to Telangana, coal mines, guarantees in the State Division Act, and transfer of protected lands should be resolved promptly.

The Union Home Minister Mr. Amit Shah has been requested to strengthen the Telangana Anti-Narcotics Bureau and resolve the long pending issues under the Redistricting Act.

The topic-wise details of their discussion are as follows.

Shravanpalli coal block included in the list of coal mines being auctioned by the Center should be removed from it and allotted to Singareni.

Koyagudem Block 3 and Satthupalli Block 3 mines in the area identified by Singareni as a coal reserve area in the Godavari valley region should also be allocated to Singareni as per the law.

Although it is the central government’s policy decision to set up one IIM in each state, Telangana has not been sanctioned so far. It should be granted immediately.

The Information Technology Investment Region (ITIR) project sanctioned to Hyderabad in 2010 should be revived.

Kazipet Coach Factory mentioned in the State Division Act should be set up.

Telangana state should be given a place in semiconductor mission

25 lakh houses should be sanctioned in the next five years under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana due to the allocation of less houses in the past.

Rs.1,800 crore due from 2019 to date under the Development Fund for Backward Areas should be released immediately.

The proposed Hyderabad-Karimnagar, Hyderabad-Nagpur roads along with the elevated corridors along with 2450 acres of land required for the expansion of roads in the city should be transferred under the jurisdiction of the Defense Department.

As mentioned in the State Division Act, the process of setting up a steel plant in Bayyaram should be expedited.

The process of tenders should be expedited in view of the grant of 50 percent of the necessary funds as the state’s share for the regional ring road land acquisition from Sangareddy to Chautuppal under the Bharat Mala Project Scheme. Also second part should be approved from Chautuppal to Sangareddy RRR.

13 state highways should be upgraded as National Highways keeping in view the increased transport needs to major towns and holy places in Telangana.

Navodaya Vidyalayas should be granted to new districts.

Necessary funds should be sanctioned for the modernization of surveillance departments such as Telangana TG ANB and Telangana TG Cyber ​​Bureau.

Funds should be sanctioned for procurement of modern technology and equipment required for controlling and curbing drugs and cyber crime.

29 more IPS posts should be allocated to the state.

The Andhra Pradesh State Division Act should help resolve the unresolved issues between the two states.
