Hyderabad: GITAM Faculty Honored as Innovative Professor of the Year 2024

Dr. Md. Akhtar Khan, Associate Professor of Aerospace Engineering at GITAM Deemed-to-be University, Hyderabad, has been awarded the prestigious ‘Innovative Professor of the Year-2024 Award’ by the Indian Icon Awards, New Delhi (MSME Organization).

This recognition is a testament to Dr. Khan’s innovative research in the field of aerospace engineering, particularly his groundbreaking work in developing noiseless propellers and flexible aero-wing structures for drones and UAVs. His unique propeller design has significantly reduced drone propeller noise and enhanced the aerodynamic performance of drones.
