The tiger translocation work going on in Rajaji Tiger Reserve is creating new dimensions of success. Once again a tigress has been seen with a small cub in the western end of the park.

It is worth noting that a few days ago a tigress translocated from Jim Corbett gave birth to four cubs in the same area of the park. Rajaji administration and forest department were very excited about this. Meanwhile, now another tigress has been seen with her small cub. This tigress seen with the small cub in the camera trap is completely healthy.

Four tigers (one male, three female) have been successfully translocated from Jim Corbett. Preparations are underway to bring the fifth tiger soon. Along with the tiger monitoring team, the park director Saket Badola is keeping an eye on every situation.

The park department is excited with the sighting of two tigresses with small cubs within a fortnight, but now keeping them safe is also a big challenge. The forest personnel deployed on the spot are in alert mode amid the fire season and severe heat. It is expected that after seeing the successful results of tiger translocation, it seems that soon Rajaji Tiger Reserve will also reverberate with the roar of tigers.

Rajaji Park Director Saket Badola said that another tigress translocated from Corbett Park has been seen with her little cub in the western region of the park. This is the second success within a fortnight. All our teams are keeping a close watch on every situation and their movement. Soon the fifth tiger will also be translocated here.
