Singareni: CMD N. Balaram met Australia Trade and Investment Commissioner Denise Eaton

The Trade and Investment Commissioner of Australia, Denise Eaton, held a special meeting at Singareni Bhawan, Hyderabad on Thursday, regarding the cooperation in modern mining technology and science required for the achievement of the production target of 100 million tons set by the Singareni company in the next five years.

Speaking on this occasion, Singareni CMD N. Balaram explained the technology currently being used in Singareni, the record production, transportation, turnover and growth rate of the company achieved this year. It was also explained that it has successfully entered thermal and solar sectors as part of business expansion activities along with coal production.

He said that as part of business expansion, opportunities in other fields are being fully examined. He recalled that in the past, he had received services in mining, defence and technical matters with Simtars and other companies from Australia.

Australian Commissioner Denise Eaton explained that the Australian team will visit the Singareni region in November to see for themselves the technology being implemented in Singareni and the company’s new business expansion measures.

He also asked them to take advantage of the training classes conducted in their country on new technologies in the field of mining. CMD N. Balaram stated that we will accept appropriate cooperation on matters that contribute to the progress of the organization. Australian Commissioner along with Business Development Manager Ramakrishna Dastrala were present in this meeting.
