CBSE Class 12 Board Results Declared; 87.98% cleared the exam: PM Modi greets to students
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced the results for the Class 12 board exams on May 13.
This year’s overall pass percentage is 87.98%, marking a 0.65% increase from 2023. The Trivandrum region registered the highest pass percentage at 99.91%.
In the Delhi region, the overall pass percentage was recorded at 94.9%. Among candidates, 91.52% of girls passed the exam as compared to 85.12% of boys.
A total of 18,417 schools conducted the CBSE Class XII examinations at 7,126 centres this year.
Candidates can check their marks on the official websites: results.cbse.nic.in, cbse.gov.in, or cbseresults.nic.in. The results are also available on the UMANG app, Digilocker app, Pariksha Sangam portal, and through the SMS facility.
The CBSE Class 12 and 10 exams began on February 15th, with the Class 10 board exams ending on March 13th and Class 12 on April 2nd.
Students must score a minimum of 33% marks to pass the CBSE Class 10 and 12 exams.
The CBSE is also expected to release the results for the Class 10th board examinations today.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated students who have passed the CBSE Class 12th exams. In a social media post, Mr. Modi said he is immensely proud of students’ accomplishment and their relentless dedication. Mr Modi also acknowledged the efforts of students’ supportive families and dedicated educators, whose unwavering support he said has been crucial to this success. While addressing students who were hoping for more in the exams, Mr Modi said that this is just one milestone in their journey and urged them to focus on what excites and drives them.
