Hyderabad: GITAM Faculty Dr. Naresh Kumar Katari to US for Research
Dr. Naresh Kumar Katari, Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry at the School of Science, GITAM, Hyderabad, has been scheduled to visit the Research and Development laboratory of ScieGen Pharmaceuticals Inc. at 89 Arkay Drive, Hauppauge, New York, for a period of 46 days from April 15th to May 30th, 2024.
During his visit, Dr. Katari will focus on implementing the synthesis and quantification of Trace-level Mutagens and Cohort of Concern NDSRI using LC & MS with 1-Optimal Mixture Design. Additionally, the objective is to identify and explore the degradation mechanism route for determining impurities such as degradation impurities, process-related impurities, toxic impurities, and genotoxic impurities in the finished dosage forms using LC/LC-MS methods and QbD protocols.
Prof. D.S. Rao, Pro Vice-Chancellor at GITAM, Hyderabad, along with DVVSR Varma, Resident Director, Dr. Motahar Reza, Incharge Principal, School of Science, and Dr. Gousia Begum, Head of the Department of Chemistry, have expressed their appreciation for Dr. Katari’s ongoing efforts in the field of research.
