People in Odisha are reeling under a scorching heat wave with the mercury rising beyond 40 degrees Celsius at many places in the state.
The Met Office has warned of very severe heat wave to severe heat wave conditions in some places in the state’s Mayurbhanj, Nuapada, Gajapati, and Nayagarh districts.
