Punjab: Several Farmer Unions Start Indefinite ‘Rail Roko Andolan’ at Shambhu on Amritsar-Delhi Rail Track 

In Punjab, several farmer unions started an indefinite Rail Roko Andolan at Shambhu on the Amritsar-Delhi rail track this afternoon.

At Least 34 trains have been affected due to this agitation and the railways has cancelled 11 trains while routes of some other trains were diverted.

The police tried to stop the agitating farmers but breaking all barricades the farmers in large numbers reached the railway track and sat down there.

Farmers are demanding the release of their three leaders from the jail immediately.
