Hyderabad: Outreach Program at ZPHS, Rudraram:Spreading the Joy of Mathematics and Science

GITAM Deemed to be University, Hyderabad, in collaboration with ZPHS Rudraram, organized an outreach program aimed at popularizing mathematics and science among students. This initiative, spearheaded by the Department of Mathematics at GITAM School of Science, aims to instill a love for these subjects and inspire young minds to pursue excellence.

Dr. Pasham Narasimha Swamy, Assistant Professor of Mathematics, emphasized the significance of mathematics in shaping individuals’ analytical abilities and preparing them for competitive examinations. He underscored the role of mathematics in fostering critical thinking skills essential for success in various fields.

Dr. Swamy commended GITAM’s initiative in fostering this connection and emphasized the collaborative efforts of teachers and students in promoting mathematics and science education.

Over 120 students from ZPHS Rudraram, accompanied by their teachers, actively participated in the program. Around 20 students from GITAM, under the leadership of Pranavi, Shazia, Chandana, and Karthik, contributed enthusiastically to making the event a success.

The outreach program at ZPHS Rudraram served as a platform to nurture young talents and foster a deeper appreciation for mathematics and science. By engaging students in interactive sessions and discussions, the initiative aims to ignite a passion for these subjects and pave the way for a brighter future.
