In IPL Cricket, Delhi Capitals defeated Chennai Super Kings by 20 runs in Visakhapatnam last night.
Opting to bat, Delhi Capitals posted 191 for the loss of five wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. David Warner was the top scorer for Delhi, with 52 runs followed by Skipper Rishabh Pant with 51 runs. For Chennai, Matheesha Pathirana scalped three wickets.
In reply, Chennai Super Kings failed to achieve the target, scoring 171 for the loss of six wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Ajinkya Rahane scored highest 45 runs while M S Dhoni remained not out with 37 runs for Chennai. From Delhi, Mukesh Kumar took 3 wickets while Khaleel Ahmed scalped 2 wickets in four overs conceding only 21 runs.
Khaleel Ahmed was declared the Player of the Match.Today, Mumbai Indians will lock horns with Rajasthan Royals at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. The match will start at 7.30 PM.
