Hyderabad: Seminar on ‘Interplay of PF Claims and IBC, 2016’ Enlightens Audience at GITAM
Hyderabad Insolvency Professionals Association (HIPA), Hyderabad, organized a one-day seminar titled ‘Interplay of PF Claims and IBC, 2016 for EPFO offices, Hyderabad’ at GITAM Deemed to be University, Hyderabad on March 29, 2024.
Vishal Agarwal, Regional Provident Fund Commissioner-I, Patancheru, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. CA N. Mallikarjun, President, HIPA delivered the inaugural speech, setting the tone for the seminar. Mahadev Tirunagiri, Practising Company Secretary & Insolvency Professional, provided insights into the Scheme of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016 (IBC).
Shaik Gouse, Insolvency Professional, Advocate, and Company Secretary in Practice, discussed the Impact of IBC on Employees Provident Fund (EPF). ESSR Murthy, Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant, and Insolvency Professional, shared knowledge on Case Laws on PF Claims and addressed Practical Issues. Hari Prasad, an Insolvency Professional & Advocate, concluded the seminar by providing an overview of Case Laws on PF Claims and Practical Issues.

The seminar witnessed active participation from Insolvency Professionals from HIPA and officials from EPFO Regional Office Patancheru, Barkatpura, Madhapur and Kukatpally. The attendees gained valuable insights into the interplay between PF claims and the IBC, 2016 along with practical knowledge and case law references.
