India Coast Guard evacuates critically ill patient from tug
New Delhi, 27 Mar 24: In a swift midnight operation Indian Coast Guard Station Veraval evacuated a seriously ill patient (Mr. K Ponnusamy, Age – 47) from Tug ABS Anokhi10Kmsinto sea from Veraval on 26 Mar 24.
On receipt of information regarding the medical emergency, ICG Interceptor CraftC-121 was sailed immediately from Veraval by ICG Maritime Rescue Sub Centre Veraval with medical team embarked onboard.

ICG crafton reaching scene of action, established communication with the tug and the patient who was critically illwas swiftly and safely shifted to ICG Craft and evacuated to Govt. Hospital, Veraval for further medical management
