In Madhya Pradesh, the election process for 29 Lok Sabha seats will be conducted in 4 phases. State Chief Electoral Officer Anupam Rajan said that the Model Code of Conduct has become completely effective in the state, and is being strictly followed.  

In Madhya Pradesh, the voting process for the first phase will be completed on 19 April while the second phase on 26 April, the third phase on 7 May and the fourth and final phase will be completed on 13 May. The results of all phases of counting will be declared on 4th June. 

Chief Electoral Officer Anupam Rajan said that eligible citizens can still get their names added to the voter list. He also expressed the possibility of increasing the voting percentage.

More than 5 crore 63 lakh 60 thousand voters of the state will exercise their franchise in the elections. These include more than 2 crore 89 lakh 51 thousand male and around 2 crore 73 lakh 87 thousand female voters.

More than 16 lakh voters aged between 18 to 19 will vote for the first time in the Lok Sabha elections in the state. BJP has declared its candidates for all 29 seats of Madhya Pradesh, while Congress has so far announced candidates for 10 seats.
