Telangana: CM directs development of tourism areas to attract tourists

Chief Minister Anumula Revanth Reddy has directed the officials to identify diverse areas to attract tourists and develop them at international level.

He ordered to identify all the beauty of forests, wild animals, migratory foreign birds, areas with diverse biodiversity, heritage places and areas reflecting the culture in the state and make them all tourist spots.

The CM suggested to examine the possibilities of developing Kawwal in North Telangana and Amrabad Tiger Reserve projects in South Telangana as tourist areas. There should be a special tourism policy without harming wild animals.

In a review meeting with the forest department officials at the secretariat, the CM directed the officials to formulate plans for the development of eco-tourism in the state. He said that the beauty of forests, wild animals, migratory foreign birds, areas with diverse bio-diversity, heritage sites and areas reflecting culture should be identified and developed.

Environment and Forest Minister Mrs. Konda Surekha, Principal Secretary Mrs. Vani Prasad and senior officers participated in this meeting.
