Maharashtra: Rahul Gandhi promises several mahila nyay guarantees at women’s rally in Dhule district

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi promised several Mahila Nyay guarantees at a women’s rally in the Dhule district of Maharashtra on Wednesday. While speaking at the women’s rally organised as part of his Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, he said that the Congress would directly deposit one lakh rupees annually in the bank accounts of poor women if voted to power.

He said that the guarantees of the Congress party are not like what the Modi government promises and fails to deliver. He added that there will not be any survey and one lakh rupees will be deposited annually in the bank accounts of poor women. He said that the scheme will be called Mahalakshmi Guarantee.

Rahul Gandhi further promised 50 per cent reservation for women in all Central government institutes. He said that lakhs of Central government posts are lying vacant. He promised to fill up the posts immediately after they assumed power.

He also promised that Savitribai Hostels will be set up in every district of Maharashtra for working women in the honour of great social reformer Savitrbai Phule. He added that the plan will be implemented immediately after his Party comes to power.
