Telangana: Dy CM Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu lays foundation stone for Singareni guest house: 1900 jobs will be filled under Singareni this year

Telangana Deputy Chief Minister, Minister of Energy, Finance and Planning Mr. Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu has announced that about 1900 jobs will be filled under Singareni this year with the main intention of providing employment opportunities to the unemployed youth of Singareni region. As part of this, he announced that 489 job notifications have been issued in the last week. Notifications for another 1352 jobs will be released very soon. He spoke as the chief guest at the foundation stone laying ceremony of the Singareni guest house to be built in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad on Tuesday.

The Deputy CM said that Singareni, which has a history of 134 years, does not have a guest house in Hyderabad. The state government has allotted a thousand yards of land for the benefit of the workers and officials. Hailing from the Singareni area, he feels fortunate to have been given the opportunity to open this guest house. He said that as part of Singareni expansion activities, the foundation stone of 800 MW supercritical plant will soon be laid in the premises of existing 1200 MW thermal power plant operated by Singareni Colliery Company Limited in Jaipur.

He also said that it is expected to set up an 800 megawatt plant in the premises of the plant built decades ago under the auspices of Gen Co in Ramagundam. It has been revealed that it is planned to take up the construction of this plant under the supervision of Singareni. With this, thermal capacity of Singareni will reach 2800 megawatts.

Also, for a sustainable future, Singareni is moving ahead with a firm determination to set up new mines to provide employment to the unemployed youth of the region. As part of this, he appealed to the Union Coal Minister to allocate Tadicharla-2 mine to Singareni and got a positive response.

He also said that talks were held with the Chief Minister of Odisha to remove the problems in the opening of the Naini mine. Plans are being made to set up floating solar plants and wind power on open casts on huge reservoirs of the state under Singareni.

The Deputy CM said that they are moving forward on Singareni issues from a humane perspective and all the decisions they take will pave the way for the bright future of Singareni. They declared that their goal is to increase the wealth of Singareni. The goal is to distribute the increased wealth to the workers. Dr. BR. Ambedkar announced that knowledge centers will be started soon to prepare the unemployed youth in the state for competitive examinations.

He said that Singareni plays a vital role in the development of the state and the state government is working with the aim of developing this organization and creating new jobs. He said that he is directing the management to take steps to appoint a BC Liaison Officer just like there are SC and ST Liaison Officers in Singareni.

Mr. N. Balaram, chairman and MD of the organization welcomed the meeting and said that the Singareni organization with a history of 134 years does not have its own guest house in Hyderabad, and the state government has not only allocated a thousand yards of land for its own guest house but also said that it is very happy to lay the foundation stone.

Balaram presided over the event which was attended by Minister of State for Transport, BC Welfare Mr. Ponnam Prabhakar, Minister of State for IT, Electronics, Communications, Industries, Commerce, Legislative Affairs Mr. Duddilla Sridharbabu, Mayor of Hyderabad Ms. Vijayalakshmi, Coal Belt MLAs Mr. Vivek, Mr. Vinod, Mr. Makkan Singh Raj Thakur, Mr. Prem Sagar Rao, former MP, former Indian cricket captain Mr. Azharuddin, representative association leaders Mr. Janak Prasad were present.
