PM Modi on two day visit to Telangana from March 4; to inaugurate and lay foundation stone of multiple development projects
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be on a two day visit to Telangana from Monday (4th March 2024). He will inaugurate and lay foundation stone of multiple development projects worth more than 62 thousand 800 crore rupees in Adilabad, Hyderabad and Sangareddy during the visit.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be on whirlwind visit to multiple places in Telangana during the next two days and he will be laying foundation stone and inaugurating several development projects. Over 1600 security and police personnel have been deployed in Adilabad where the Prime Minister will be reaching out to the people of Telangana during his first part of the visit.
Besides addressing people at a public meeting, the Prime Minister will be dedicating to the nation, the 800 MW second unit of NTPC’s Telangana Super Thermal Power Project in Peddapalli.
The Ultra-Supercritical Technology based project will supply 85 per cent power to the state and will have the highest power generation efficiency of approximately 42 percent among all power stations of NTPC in the country. It may be recalled that the foundation stone of the project was also laid by the Prime Minister. He will also dedicate several rail, and highway projects to the nation and lay foundation stone to several others in Hyderabad and Sangareddy.
Prime Minister will dedicate the newly electrified Ambari – Adilabad – Pimpalkhuti rail line to the nation. He will also lay the foundation for two major National Highway projects connecting Telangana with Maharashtra and Telangana with Chhattisgarh through different highways.
The Prime Minister will dedicate to the nation the state-of-the-art Civil Aviation Research Organization (CARO) centre in Hyderabad. It has been set up at Begumpet Airport, Hyderabad by Airports Authority of India to upgrade and enhance the Research and Development (R&D) activities in the civil aviation sector.
