Anurag Singh Thakur hosts dinner for 100-member Youth Delegation from Bangladesh in New Delhi
Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Anurag Singh Thakur hosted a dinner for the 100-member Youth Delegation from Bangladesh in New Delhi yesterday.
Sharing about the same in a social media post, Mr. Thakur said that the Government of India honours and celebrates the spirit of companionship and cultural exchange that binds the two vibrant nations together. He expressed confidence that the delegation’s enriching visit to Bharat has been filled with a kaleidoscope of wonders, achievements, and valuable learnings.

The Minister further added that the commitment to the ingrained bonds of friendship and regional cooperation offers youth promising opportunities. Mr. Thakur hoped that the delegates had created lasting memories and forged new friendships during the annual event and looked forward to fostering collaboration, understanding, and shared prosperity.
The Bangladesh Youth Delegation programme was started in 2012 as a joint initiative by the Ministry of External Affairs and the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports. The main objective of this youth programme is to foster goodwill and understanding of each other’s countries and promote the exchange of ideas and understanding of values and culture among the youth..
