In Women’s Premier League Cricket, Mumbai Indians defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore by 7 wickets at M.Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru last night. Chasing a modest target of 132 runs set by Royal Challengers Bangalore,

Mumbai Indians reached the goal in just 15.1 overs, losing only 3 wickets. For Mumbai Indians, Amelia Kerr was the highest scorer with 40 runs followed by Yastika Bhatia, 31; Nat Sciver-Brunt, 27 and Hayley Matthews with 26 runs.

Earlier, put into bat, Royal Challengers Bangalore scored 131 for 6 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. For Royal Challengers Bangalore Ellyse Perry was the highest scorer with an unbeaten 44 runs.
