Kerala: Auto-rickshaw driver killed in an attack by wild elephant at Kannimala in Idukki district

In yet another incident of human-animal conflict in Kerala, an auto-rickshaw driver was killed in an attack by a wild elephant at Kannimala in Kannan Devan Hills village near Munnar in Idukki district last night. He was on his way back home when the incident took place.

Two others, who were injured in the attack have been admitted to a hospital in Munnar.

With this, the number of persons who lost their lives in the state due to human-animal conflict in the recent past has risen to four.
