Nagaland Legislative Assembly to be conducted in paperless environment
The proceedings of the Fourth Session of the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly will be conducted in a paperless environment. The session will begin tomorrow and conclude on March 1. Assembly Secretary-in-charge Khruohituonuo Rio informed that 70 percent of the legislative proceedings will be paperless.
She said assembly secretariat will not be laying hard copies of the List of Business, Annual Administrative Reports, Questions and Replies. However, these papers will be available for download the NeVa website and NeVa phone App.
Mention may be made that the Nagaland Assembly adopted the National e-Vidhan Application, Neva during the 11th session of the last Assembly Session.
Meanwhile, Governor La Ganesan will deliver his maiden address the House tomorrow. Election of Deputy Speaker will also be held on the first day of the session. Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio who also holds the Finance portfolio will present the budget for the year 2024-25 on February 27.
