IPE organised workshop on Financial Inclusion and Rural Women Empowerment through PMJDY
Institute of Public Enterprise (IPE), Hyderabad organiseda workshop on 20th February 2024, as a part of ICSSR sponsored Short Term Empirical Research Project 2023-2024 titled “Role of Financial Inclusion in Rural Women Empowerment:
An Impact Analysis of PMJDY in Select Areas of Maharashtra, Rajasthan, West Bengal and J&K”. Prof. S Sreenivasa Murthy, Director, IPE has chaired the workshop. Ms. Swati Tiwari, DGM, NABARD and Shri A L Nageswar Rao, former CGM, Andhra Bank had graced the workshop as the Guest of Honour. Prof. V Srikanth, Dean (Academics) and Prof. Ch Lakshmi Kumari, Dean (Research) participated in the workshop.
Several rural women beneficiaries of PMJDY scheme and women SHGs, participated in the workshop and shared their views and thoughts. The workshop was organised by Dr. Syed Azher Ali (Coordinator), Dr. Mousumi Singha Mahapatra, Dr. Anuradha Nayak and Dr. Muzamil Ahmad Baba.
