Central Coal Secretary Mr. Amrit Lal Meena has assured that the performance of Singareni Company is satisfactory and that they will provide full support to the mines to be undertaken for the development of the company.
He expressed special appreciation for being ahead in the production target of 70 million tons set this year. On Friday, he held a special review of the company’s progress with the company’s Chairman and MD Mr. N. Balaram and other directors at Singareni Bhavan, Hyderabad.
In this review, Chairman Mr. N. Balaram explained about Singareni’s current performance and future plans. He appealed to ensure that the allocation of three coal blocks in Singareni area should be allocated to Singareni company. Also, they want to see that the new mines to be taken up in the coming period get speedy permissions.
Responding to this, the Secretary of the Central Government department assured that there will be no problem for the future of Singareni that they will provide appropriate cooperation in accordance with the rules. He also inquired about the performance of solar and thermal projects undertaken under the auspices of the organization. He learned thoroughly about the projects undertaken in the solar sector.
He appreciated the business expansion activities undertaken by Singareni such as thermal, solar, geo thermal, sand production from OB, commercial sand production and other projects.

Satyanarayana Rao (E&M), Mr. NVK Srinivas (Operations and Personnel), Mr. G. Venkateshwar Reddy (Projects and Planning) were present in this meeting. , Executive Director (Coal Momentum) Mr. J.
