New Delhi ranks 7th amongst cleanest cities in Swachh Survekshan 2023

National capital, New Delhi has ranked seventh amongst the cleanest cities in India in the more than 1 lakh population category in Swachh Survekshan held in 2023.

In a press release, Housing and Urban Affairs Ministry said that City has also ranked first among Union Territories and got 5-star Garbage Free Rating.

Appreciating the efforts made by New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC), the Ministry said it has taken a proactive approach to sustainable waste management by setting up six community Organic Waste Converters in residential areas.
