Hyderabad: GITAM Hosts Successful Techno-Cultural Fest ‘Pramana-2024’
GITAM Deemed to be University, Hyderabad, organized a three-day ‘Techno-Cultural Fest’ called ‘Pramana-2024’ from February 8th to 10th, 2024. The event showcased the talents and skills of the university’s students in various fields and received an overwhelming response.
The inauguration of Pramana-2024 was graced by esteemed Chief Guest Upasana Kamineni Konidela, and G. Vamsi Krishna, Joint Managing Director of Visaka Industries, who served as the guest of honor. They inaugurated the students’ fest and motivated the participants to strive for remarkable achievements, regardless of their gender. The chief guest emphasized the importance of setting oneself up to perform at their best, while the guest of honor highlighted the limitless opportunities available to individuals and encouraged attendees to explore their passions and interests without boundaries.
The three-day fest witnessed a multitude of events that tested the students’ talents and skills. Some of the events included the Treasure Hunt, Raw N Real Dance Competition, Threeory Band, Dance workshop, One-day Entrepreneur, Auto expo, and Battle of Bands. Additionally, workshops, competitions, and cultural events such as Singing, Ramp walk, and Dance were also organized, providing a platform for students to showcase their hidden talents.
The Artist Showcase round was a highlight of the fest, featuring exceptional performances by Ram Miriyala and Sahiti Chaganti, who mesmerized the audience with their rendition of the latest cine songs. Sanjeev Deshpande, Regional Head of APAC responsible for NTT DATA Business Solutions’ business in the Region, graced the event on Day 2 and distributed the appreciation certificate to the winners.
The fest concluded on a high note with an electrifying EDM/DJ Night featuring Project 91 and Nina Suerta. The event brought everyone together and took them on a musical journey to a new dimension.
Pramana-2024 also offered a platform to college students from across Greater Hyderabad to participate in competitive formal and informal events for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
The success of Pramana-2024 can be attributed to the guidance and support provided by Prof. D.S.Rao, Pro VC; DVVSR Varma, Resident Director; Dr. P.Trinadha Rao, Faculty Advisor; and Geo Ciril Podipara, Staff Convenor, faculty, and student core committee who monitored the fest and ensured its successful completion.
