AAP to contest alone in Punjab for upcoming Lok Sabha elections

The Convener of Aam Aadmi Party and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has announced that his Party will contest alone in all 13 Lok Sabha constituencies in Punjab and one in Chandigarh, giving a blow to the ‘I-N-D-I-A’ alliance formed under the leadership of Congress.

Addressing a gathering after launching the free ration distribution scheme of Punjab government in Khanna of Ludhiana district on Saturday, he clarified that Aam Aadmi Party is preparing to contest elections on all 14 Lok Sabha constituencies of Punjab and Chandigarh. Candidates for these elections will be announced during next fortnight, he further added.
