Visakhapatnam Port Authority bags 3rd Rank in respect of Swachchta Pakhwada Awards

Visakhapatnam Port Authority bagged 3rd Rank in respect of Swachchta Pakhwada Awards organized by the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways and is the only Major Port bagging the Award.
 
Dr. M. Angamuthu, Chairperson, Visakhapatnam Port Authority, along with T. Venu Gopal, Secretary and M. Hariya, Chief Engineer In-Charge, received the Swachchta Pakhwada Award today presented by Sarbanada Sonowal, Union Minister of Ports, Shipping and Waterways at New Delhi.

 
Dr. Angamuthu said that Visakhapatnam Port Authority has implemented the Swachchta Action Plan in all the programmes, schemes and activities. He commended the entire team that stood 1st among all Major Ports in the country and in achieving 3rd Rank among all the Organizations functioning under the Ministry for their commendable work in improvement and maintenance of Swachchta all the Port premises.
