Telangana: Chief Wildlife Warden M.C. Pargaien issues orders to capture the Leopard
There have been reports being received from Narayanpet and Wanaparthy Districts regarding repeated killing of domestic animals by Leopard thereby causing threat and increasing Human Animal conflict.
In recent days few cases of killing domestic cattle have been reported to the Forest Officers in Narayanpet and Wanaparthy Districts. The local villagers are also approaching Forest Officers for taking necessary action for protecting their cattle from the Leopard.
The matter has been examined by chief wildlife warden, PCCF Mr. M.C. Pargaien and the orders have been issued to capture the Leopard to avoid further loss of cattle as well as threat to human life and prevent Human-Animal Conflict.
According to the instructions given by head office district forest officers taking necessary arrangements to capture the Leopard.
