Maharashtra: Interim budget laid down the foundation of Aatmanirbhar and strong India: CM Eknath Shinde
Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has expressed that the interim budget laid down the foundation of an Aatmanirbhar and strong India. Speaking to reporters in Mumbai today, the Chief Minister also said that this Union Budget is the result of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s efforts of the last 10 years.
He added that it is a budget that is comprehensive, gives justice to the common people, women, youth, the elderly, farmers, workers. The CM also mentioned that no change in direct and indirect tax structure has brought relief to common citizens. The Chief Minister said that the decision to amend the schemes introduced in the last ten years to avoid the loss to farmers, more arrangement of godowns, self-sufficient oil seed campaign, comprehensive scheme for dairy farmers will definitely help the farmers.
The Chief Minister has said that special priority has been given to women in this budget. He added that in real sense, this is the budget that provides the facilities of bread, clothes and houses to the people. He further said that an interest-free loan scheme repayable in 50 years has been launched to enable the youth to stand on their own feet while prioritizing skill development.
As there will be an increase in IITs, IIMs, the youth who want to get good higher education will benefit. He said that Promotion of electric vehicles, provision of free electricity up to 300 units per month to 1 crore households through solar panels on houses will give the country a new energy for development.
The Chief Minister has also mentioned that this massive increase in infrastructure will strengthen India’s economy and accelerate progress towards the goal of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to make India a superpower and make the country a 5 trillion dollar economy.
