Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh said the Interim Budget reflects the emphasis on innovation and Startups to achieve the goal of Viksit Bharat by 2047. Briefing media in New Delhi on Thursday, the Minister referred to the Interim Budget proposing a corpus of one lakh crore rupees to boost private investment in sunrise technologies.

He said, this will mark a golden era for country’s tech savvy youth and encourage programmes that combine the powers of youth and technology. Dr Jitendra Singh said that Atmanirbharta in Science and Technology will also get a fillip with the proposed new scheme to be launched for strengthening Deep-Tech technologies for Defence Sector.
