Patna: CM Nitish Kumar likely to resign & stake claim to form new govt with the help of BJP
Chief Minister of Bihar Nitish Kumar has sought time from the Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar today and he is scheduled to reach Rajbhavan in a short while.
During the meeting he is likely to resign and stake claim to form the new government with the help of BJP. Earlier, JD(U) President Mr Kumar held a meeting of the JD(U) MLAs in Patna. Where he discussed the present political scenario of the State.
The swearing ceremony of the Chief Minister is likely to take place later in the day. BJP President JP Nadda is expected to remain present during the oath-taking ceremony in which Nitish Kumar will be administered the oath of office and secrecy for a record 9th time.
