Union Home Ministry to provide Z Plus security cover to Kerala Governor Arif Mohammed Khan

The Union Home Ministry has decided to provide Z Plus security cover to Kerala Governor Arif Mohammed Khan and his residence.

The action comes soon after the Governor today took, sit-in protest against black flag agitation by the Student Federation of India, SFI, activists. The SFI activists raised banners and shouted slogans against the Governor at Nilamel in Kollam.
         
During the protest, Mr Khan alleged that the Chief minister, Pinarayi Vijayan is promoting lawlessness in the state. The Governor ended the unprecedented protest, after the police lodged a case against 17 people and read out the FIR
