AU and PU-USA Jointly Organises Workshop on IPR and Startups
Visakhapatnam: DPIIT-IPR Chair,Centre for Intellectual Property Rights and a-Hub Andhra University in association with Purdue University USA is organising a one day workshop and Faculty Development Program on 29.1.2024 at Andhra University Alumni Association (AAA) Smart Seminar Hall, says the press release
Prof Hanumanthu Purushotham the DPIIT-IPR Chair informed that the objective of the workshop is to create awareness about the importance of Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs) among faculty members, research scholars and startups as the IPRs are intangible assets and have the power to create wealth, employment opportunities, industrial and economic development.
Ms Juliana Casavan Entrepreneurship Program Consultant for Purdue University USA shall be delivering the keynote address. The other prominent speakers are Mr Aliasgar Calcuttawala CTO and Co-Founder SAIF Automations Services LLP, Dr B K Sahu NRDC,Ms Hima Bindu Novel Patent Services Pvt Ltd, Mr Ravi Eswarapu CEO a-Hub and Prof H Purushotham DPIIT-IPR Chair.
Shri Ravi Eswarapu CEO of a-Hub said it is a wonderful opportunity for the startups to learn from the experienced startups ecosystem players and mentors about how IPR benefits them.
The program poster was released by Prof PVGD Prasad Reddy Vice Chancellor in presence of the Registrar Prof M James Stephan and the organisers and appreciated the initiative as it helps to create capacity building and awareness among the IPR and innovation stakeholders.
