Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann today categorically said that the Aam Aadmi Party would go alone in the coming Lok Sabha elections and contest all 13 seats without any alliance with the Congress party.
Aam Aadmi Party is poised to won all seats in the State, he claimed further. He added that nearly 40 aspirants have been shortlisted in preliminary meetings for the all Lok Sabha constituencies. Both AAP and the Congress are a coalition of the opposition’s I.N.D.I.Alliance.
West Bengal: CM Mamata Banerjee ruled out any alliance with Congress in respect of I. N. D. I. A. coalition in the State
West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress (TMC) chairperson Mamata Banerjee today ruled out any alliance with the Congress in respect of I. N. D. I. A. coalition in the State for the upcoming Lok Sabha election. She announced this in a press briefing before a government programme at Goda Maidan in Purba Bardhaman district of West Bengal.
The Chief Minister said that there has been no discussion with her with Congress on the issue of seat sharing in the State. She added that Congress refused their proposal from the beginning. She has made it clear that on the national level, she will decide on the coalition after the General Election. She also said that Congress did not inform her party about the itinerary of Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra in the State.
Ms. Mamata Banerjee has also informed that at State-level Congress has to respect the regional parties.
