2nd consecutive day in Ayodhya, the rush of devotees continues for the darshan of Ram Lalla
A sea of devotees continue to throng Ayodhya to have darshan of Ram Lalla on the second consecutive day today. Since early morning, a large number of devotees gathered outside the main gates of the Ram temple. Around five lakh devotees offered prayers yesterday in the newly built temple.
UP DG Law and Order Prashant Kumar told media that improved crowd control measures have been put in place and dedicated queue channels have been made to ensure that devotees do not face any inconvenience.
He said around eight thousand police personnel are present in and around the temple. Mr Kumar also urged the devotees to stay patient. Meanwhile, in view of large number of devotees coming to have darshan, the timing of darshan has been extended till 10 PM. Earlier, it was till 7 PM.
