PM Modi Interacts with 19 Young Achievers of Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar
Prime Minister Narendra Modi today interacted with Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar awardees at his residence in New Delhi. This year, the award has been given to nineteen children for their outstanding achievements in the fields of Art and Culture, Bravery, Innovation, Social Service and Sports. There are nine boys and ten girls among the awardees belonging to 18 States and UTs, including two Aspirational Districts.
During the interaction, the children shared details of their achievements for which they were awarded. Various subjects like music, culture, solar power and sports were discussed among others.
The children also asked the Prime Minister several questions. On being asked about the launch of Pradhan Mantri Suryodaya Yojana, Prime Minister Modi recalled the steps taken by him to harness solar energy while he was Chief Minister of Gujarat, and also spoke about how people will benefit from this scheme.
The Prime Minister also discussed with the children about the significance of the day and told them about Parakram Diwas and how the government is honouring the legacy of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. Prime Minister presented souvenirs to each awardee.
